Capt. Todd Nicholls
Captain Nicholls has been involved in the marine industry for over three decades, much of it spent in the undersea cable telecommunications sector. Getting his start with the Canadian Coast Guard he acquired command of a number of Coast Guard vessels before moving full time onto cable ships.As Director of Vessel Operations for IT International Telecom since 2000, Todd still sails as master and acts as Offshore Installation Manager on a regular basis.
Todd has extensive experience delivering yachts between the Caribbean and Mediterranean and is a key partner at SafeShip Yacht Services for delivery. Sailing since childhood and growing up cruising the west coast of Canada, he has continued to enjoy the sailing lifestyle on the east coast of Canada out of St. Margaret's Bay and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Capt. Nicholls is a graduate of the Canadian Coast Guard College, is a Master Mariner, DPO unlimited and a certified diver. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute.
